Irving Force – The Violence Suppressor EP

I spoke to some dude on twitter a little while ago who described Irving Force as being, “Too extreme and Black Metal” for his tastes. I found this comment insanely confusing as I wasn’t aware that Adam Skog (Aka Irving Force) was off burning down churches or devouring the souls of children. I mean, has this guy even heard Irving Force?

Demon City Shinjuku (1988)

Based on the novel by Hideyuki Kikuchi and adapted into the now famous 1988 OVA of the same name. Most of you may remember Demon City Shinjuku as one of the first anime’s to be viewed on the just launched Sci-fi network way back in the 90’s. Others may remember seeing bits of the opening fight scene in the cyberpunk film Johnny Mnemonic (1995). If you are neither of said groups then sit down and pay attention to one of the classics of anime, before cat ears and otaku’s candy coated the genre.

      Kung Fury the passion project of Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg. Sandberg wrote and directed the now famous trailer for Kung Fury on a budget of $5,000 after quitting his day job of directing television commercials and music videos; the same trailer that gained traction via social media sites and instantly became viral.

Mental Health Awareness Week Playlist

It was mental health awareness week  in the UK last week and it is time to spread the word and rally together some supreme talent to help get the word out. So from Friday the 15 to the 29th, the plan is to raise awareness for MentalHealthAwareness 2015 by getting as many producers as possible to donate a track.

Tom ‘The Dude Designs’ Hodge is a freelance art director, designer and illustrator of key art for movies such as, ‘They Live’ and ‘Savage Streets’. He’s also worked on numerous poster campaigns, including ‘Hobo With A Shot Gun’, ‘The Innkeepers’ and Troma’s ‘Fathers Day’. Tom’s love and passion for VHS cover art is clearly evident within his own work and his unique ability for creating exceptional visual pieces are enough to demand anyone’s attention.
