The winner of the Michael Oakely remix contest has been announced as the Florida-based newcomer Syst3m Glitch! Congratulations!
This remix of ‘Control’ from Michael Oakley’s instant-classic album, “Introspect” features a fantastic deep synth bassline and quick synth staccato rolls – turning the original song on its head with a more traditional outrun and Sci-Fi feel. In addition, the vocals are slightly glitched, owning up to the Syst3m Glitch name.
This remix is almost as good as the original – no easy feat for someone who’s only been making synth music for a short time!
