Maethelvin – As We Were

A lazy VHS synth bent out of shape, mangled in the tape and beautiful for it. Trapped in the throbbing-to-pop sensation in your ears, adrenaline’s muscular drive through the veins.

Sharp moving leads, a painless thump of synths glistening like transparent fireworks. They suitably glitter, particles from a space craft on re-entry, a voice reverberating across the warmth, through the wires to the ears, distorted enough to recognise the voice as a distortion, the hint of a threat.
It was a stealthy entrance and burst of sound, a catalyst of drums and rhythmics synths, feeling the throb, the soft pads massage then swell.
Sounding of what was before and what is to come.
The future has really cool bands. I can’t wait for it to happen already.
