AMIGOD Debuts Gnarly New Music Video

AMIGOD

Hungarian production company Mihaszna Film has crafted an 80’s-inspired, reference-laden music video for AMIGOD’s track “Szeress Reám”. The song, the title of which translates in English to “Love Me”, is an absolute banger from one of Eastern Europe’s stalwarts of metal music Leander Köteles. Rounding out the ranks of AMIGOD is Budapest-based producer Quixotic, and their combined musicianship really shine throughout this upbeat vocal synthwave track.

And that’s without taking the video into account.

The music video is totally radical, and if taken as a measure of the kind of quality Mihaszna Film can produce, it’s hard to not look forward to more outrun outrageousness from everyone involved. We tried keeping count of the references throughout the music video’s 4-minute 14-second runtime and quickly racked up ten. Some of the most obvious are some clear Knight Rider references and obvious Kung Fury inspiration. Beyond that, a full-blown “Take On Me” homage midway through steals the show.

Beyond those three that we mentioned, what references can you spot in the music video? Let us know in the comments! Watch the video below.
